I’ve been paying attention to craigslist lately. I’ve been helping a child of mine look for a new car.
One thing I noticed is there are quite a few fake ads.
The standard cliche holds here: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Now, I’m not sure what these people are doing, but my guess is once you contact them via email, they push to you quickly get them a cashiers check.
That’s just a guess, but I’ve seen quite a few of these lately, so something is working here.
If anyone has had first hand experience, let us know.
