Yesterday at the office, we decided to get pizza for lunch.

There’s a place about a 5 minute walk from our office.

I figured I’d order ahead so it would be ready upon arrival.

I went to their website and this popped up:

microsoft support pop up fake
Well, I notice this for what it is right away.

But is pisses me off.

Lot’s of people will fall for this.

Add to it, there is an audio track that plays and tell you to call the number for help.

People will fall for this unless they know not to.

Also annoying, you have to hard close your browser to stop this insanity.

Oh, and we told the pizza joint. The problem is, the person we told didn’t know or didn’t care about what they needed to do.
